Cooler night temperatures improving fishing action (The Huntsville Times)The frog bite is picking up on Guntersville Lake and with cooler nighttime temperatures things should continue to get better as autumn rolls in. These nighttime temperatures in the mid-50s are quite nice. Feels like bowhunting weather, for sure.

The bluegills are biting on wax worms and red worms. The bass are biting in the farm ponds and on the river on crank baits, spinner baits, and plastic worms.
