Oregon Recreation Report (Corvallis Gazette-Times)Flows in the North and South Santiams have been holding pretty steady and are still fishable. Anticipated rains this week will likely bring river levels up. Recycling of fish from the Minto and Foster traps has been discontinued for the year, but steelhead are still in the rivers and in good shape.

Fishing DEP begins stocking of Atlantic salmon in state waters (Stamford Advocate)The Department of Environmental Protection announced last week the start of its annual stockings of surplus broodstock Atlantic salmon. In the first of several stockings, DEP's Inland Fisheries Division will be releasing a total of 510 salmon into the Naugatuck River, Crystal Lake (Ellington) and Beach Pond (Voluntown).
