Fishing report (Contra Costa Times)PACIFIC OCEAN Salmon fishing season is closing this weekend. Robert Gallia of the El Dorado said some of the private boats that have been making trips to the Duxbury area are still scoring a few salmon ranging between 18-30 pounds. Fishing report (Tallahassee Democrat)Trout fishing in shallow water, from 2 to 6 feet, on the East and West flats has been very productive. Numerous limits of trout have even been landed near the St. Marks Lighthouse where the water is very shallow. The flats in front of Big Pass and on over to Patty's Island have also been productive.
FISHING & HUNTING REPORT (Kansas City Star)The fish haven?t gone into hibernation at Norfork Lake on the Missouri-Arkansas border. The bass fishing has been outstanding, with keeper fish being caught on topwater lures early and jig and pig during the day. And crappies and stripers also are being caught.
