Former Deer Lake resident fined for illegal fishing (The Western Star)A former Deer Lake resident is returning to British Columbia a little lighter in the wallet. Dwayne Sparkes, visiting his hometown from Dawson Creek, spent a day like so many compatriot Newfoundlanders do ? fishing on the Humber River.
