Oregon foster kids will get free fishing event Saturday at Hagg Lake (The Hillsboro Argus)The "Catch the Passion" free fishing day will be from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, at Henry Hagg Lake. Between 200 and 300 Oregon foster children will gather at Boat Ramp C at the lake beginning at 7 a.m.

Lead-free tackle exchange available (Cloquet Journal)With the fishing season upon us, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Department of Natural Resources are once again partnering with retailers and others to offer more than 30 lead tackle exchanges across the state this summer.
